The Waging Peace Project is annoutncing the inaugural Duluth Peace Hero Award. The Wagine Peace Project will be gathering as a community to show Duluth what we value: peace, unity, collaberation, and each other by awarding a $1,000 cash prize to someone who is making positive change, A Peace Hero who is nominated by their friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Join The Waging Peace Project for their award ceremony. ll nominees will be acknowledged and invited to atttend.
Here at “The Waging Peace Project” we are peacemakers, committing acts of courage for the sake of justice, rooted in a relentless love that shouts the worth of every human being.
We can’t stay quiet because Justice is what love looks like in public, says Dr. Cornel West.
