Life 97.3 On-Air Personalities

I grew up listening to Christian radio but never expected I would pursue a career in it!

I’m a Northland girl through and through. I grew up in Cloquet and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in communications.

After finishing college with a degree in theatre, I felt God leading me away from the theatre life, and toward something else.  I just didn’t know what that “something else” was yet!  So, I did what any theatre kid fresh out of college would do, I got a job at Starbucks.  During that time, I dreamt of what my future would entail, would I become a cartoonist?  Children’s entertainer?  Something involving bears? (Side Note: I LOVE bears) Then one day I thought “What about radio?”  I knew NOTHING about radio, so I decided to google, How Do You Get Into Radio?  The answer led me to my local radio station to simply ask, “Do you need any part time help?”  Over 11 years later, I still have to pinch myself that I get to be in Christian radio, and that I get to be your Afternoon Show Host on Life 97.3, hanging out with you every day in the Northland!

I am married to Phil who is my person, my love, I’m a mom to two beautiful adult kids, Johanna and Jordan, and bonus mom to two bonus sons, Truett and Reid.

Thank you for spending time with me on Life 97.3! I love music and can’t wait to share life with you on our journey to love people the way Jesus did.

I fell in love with radio in 2005 and continue to be amazed that God would give me talents and skills to use alongside my passion.

Though I have spent most of my life as a bit of a nomad (22 moves in 25 years!), I am happy to now call the Northland home.

It is such an honor to be invited back to help out on the weekends after a 27-year career at the station.
