The Five Keys to Retiring Fearlessly

Are you planning to retire in the next year or two? If so, consider coming to a no-cost education workshop about retirement on February 20th at 5:30 pm. We will be holding it at the Life 97.3 Ministry Center. The Five Keys to Retiring Fearlessly workshop will be hosted by financial consultant Stephen Green of Thrivent Financial, a nationwide not-for-profit membership organization of Christians that offers a broad range of products and services. Grandparenting Matters Workshop

Come for this one-day workshop designed to encourage and equip Christian grandparents by teaching Biblical principles that will inspire you to leave a legacy of faith to your grandchildren. Registration cost is a suggested donation of $15 each or $20 per couple. Lunch is provided with your registration fee. Ruby's Pantry

Food Distribution in Gary New Duluth / West Duluth, Fond Du Lac area. $20 donation, gets a large family food bundle to help your family's food budget for the month. Distribution is always the 4th Saturday of the month, 10:30-12:30 at Mission Creek Church. Volunteers are always needed and they can arrive and sign in early. The community is invited to hear special guest speaker Nathan Steel from International House of Prayer at Lakeview Covenant Church Missions Weekend on Sunday-March 1st at the 9 or 10:30 service.
Nathan Steel serves as a leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri - a ministry built around 24/7 prayer for the Great Commission - and as a faculty member of its university (IHOPU).
He has lived in four different countries, and one of his life’s ambitions is to see the church worldwide gain a vision for God’s glory among all people groups and be provoked to intercede for a great missions harvest in every tribe, tongue, and nation.

Alpha Course at Hibbing Alliance Church

Alpha is an amazingly easy way to share the basics of our faith in a relaxed, respectful and non-confrontational way. Come for a meal, interesting video, and discussion. A weekly commitment is not required. Alpha starts Wednesday, January 15th and runs weekly through March 25th from 5:30 to 7:30. The Alpha course is free. Come and check it out!

Set Apart Women's Conference

Each year, through Set Apart, women have made significant faith decisions, heard inspirational messages, and received resources useful to encourage them, their families and churches to grow in vibrant faith. Set Apart remains thoroughly committed to encourage women to establish and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ; to increase their understanding of God’s Word, the Bible; and to experience the sweet fellowship and encouragement provided by the Holy Spirit. This event takes place on the campus of University of Northwestern-St. Paul. The theme for this year is "Rest for you soul" and the keynote speakers are Chrystal Evans Hurst and Alli Worthington.
