It’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and at Life 97.3, we are dedicating the month to discussing this important topic. You will hear us mentioning mental health themes on the station and our social media pages throughout the month, but be sure to tune in the week of May 23rd-27th, where we will be digging deeper into topics like: Depression & Anxiety, Marriage & Family Problems, Youth & Adolescent Struggles, Addiction and more.

Mental health is something many of us struggle with at different points in our lives. Everyone’s experience is unique which can make it challenging to ask for help. It can be hard to explain stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, panic, or grief  and it may feel embarrassing or uncomfortable to try to verbalize our struggles. Loved ones might not even understand or know what to say, but that does not mean there is not hope or support available.

There are many great resources created by local and National organizations that we would love to share with you.

Whether you or people in your care are struggling, we hope you feel supported and equipped this month—and beyond.

If you would like to share your mental health experience, a prayer, some advice for someone who may be struggling, or anything else related to the topic, we would love to hear from you!
