The news about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and its impact on those of us living in the Northland gives us every reason to be anxious and fearful. However, God is greater than any circumstance we might face and His perfect love casts out all fear. During times like this, we need to exercise wisdom and prudence. We are also called to pray, trust and serve those around us. We can serve others by taking the steps recommended by health authorities to prevent the spread of the virus. The days ahead are uncertain, but we can place our hope in God who is our ever-present help in times of trouble.
